On the last 24th January, as part of the celebration events for the Verdian bicentenary, the Amici della Scala held the book presentation of Giancarla Moscatelli’s “A Milano con Verdi”, a turistic and musical guide retracing Verdi’s relationships with the Ambrosian city.

In the course of an intense evening, all the friends and members attending the event were captivated by Moscatelli’s many tales and anecdotes about the Verdian Milan. The author’s reflections were alternated with book readings by the journalist Arabella Biscàro, during which Moscatelli itself, also a renowned muscian, played piano accompaniment.
