For celebrating the Verdian bicentenary, in collaboration with the Milanese Amici della Galleria d’Arte Moderna (Gam) association, the Amici della Scala have organized a four-lecture cycle dedicated to the life and works of Giuseppe Verdi.

The first encounter is the presentation of the book Giuseppe Verdi. I luoghi della vita e della musica (Mattioli 1885), and it is scheduled for Wednesday 30 January at 6pm at the Villa Reale’s Sala del Parnaso (via Palestro 16, Milano). The book’s author, Riccardo Baudinelli, will talk about his work with Claudio Buzzi.
